Omar Perez
A Mexican-American (Chicano) Self-Taught Web Developer raised in Southern California and now residing in San Antonio, Texas. I enjoy working remotely crafting websites, that are performant, accessible, and user-focused. I love to write code, and find solutions to complicated problems, I believe I exist to solve challenges for companies and individuals I connect with. I'm a constant practitioner of this craft, doing it for both work and play–all day, every day. I've started practicing and learning front-end development for four-years, and have been building websites since the early 90s. Truth is, I haven’t studied computer-science, it has always just been a passion and a hobby. I’m still learning, evolving and growing both as a person and as a developer. My goal is to work on meaningful projects and build products that help change people's lives for the better.

Offline.
When not on the computer typing away, I enjoy spending time with my little one. I enjoy playing all types of sports (Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Tennis). I've also recently started cycling, learning to cook new dishes, and playing board games are some of the other ways i like to past the time. When I'm not spending time with my little one, sleeping, eating, working, cooking or playing sports, chances are I'm probably playing some sort of a computer game.
